Ellen Kydd (b.1996) is a visual artist whose practice includes photography, drawing, film making and life modelling. Her current body of work explores the continuous line, with particular interest in how the body's engagement with its surroundings can shift in different spaces.

Ellen's work is invariably performative, with particular emphasis on the process of making. Her art draws strongly from personal experiences, seeking in her expression to access the essence of a given moment, place or being.

"There is no other time than that of the utterance, and every text is eternally written here and now.” - Roland Barthes
